Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

TerraMath is built to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what does and doesn't happen when you use it.

The short version

No account, no sign-up, no forms. TerraMath doesn't use cookies, doesn't use local browser storage, and doesn't run any analytics or tracking scripts. Nothing you type into the calculator is sent anywhere — it's all computed directly in your own browser.

What's stored on your device

Nothing. TerraMath doesn't currently use your browser's local storage or cookies for anything — every number you enter, and every mix or plant preset you select, lives only in the page for as long as it's open, and disappears the moment you close or refresh the tab.

Advertising

TerraMath is built to support two unobtrusive ad slots served through an ad network (an in-content placement and a sticky bottom anchor bar). As of this writing, both are inactive — no ads are currently being shown, and no advertising-related data is being collected.

If and when they're activated, the ad network may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which can include information about your visit for the purpose of ad personalization. You can control ad personalization directly through Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of personalized advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance. This policy will be updated with more specific detail before those slots are turned on.

Children's privacy

TerraMath is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we don't collect personal information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If TerraMath's data practices change — most likely when the ad slots above are activated, or if a future feature adds local storage for saved gardens or beds — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect that.
